At 19, she wanted to be a clinical psychologist so spent three years at University College, London.
By 22, she’d had enough of student poverty and became an investment banker in the City.
By 26, she was the youngest associate director in the NatWest Securities equity capital markets business.
At 28, she decided to combine her interest in psychology, her City network and her talent for closing deals and became a headhunter at a top City boutique.
Two years later, she wanted to be the boss so in 2001 established WoodHamill with Brian Hamill, to prove that she could build a successful search firm based on the principle of delivery.
